
Air Arabia has launched non-stop flights between Sharjah International Airport and Addis Ababa Bole International Airport in Ethiopia. The new route, commencing on January 30, 2025, will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, utilizing Airbus A320 aircraft.

Route: The new service connects Sharjah (SHJ) and Addis Ababa (ADD). Flights departing from Sharjah are scheduled for 21:25, arriving in Addis Ababa at 00:40 local time. Return flights will leave Addis Ababa at 01:30, landing in Sharjah at 06:40 local time.
Frequency: The route will initially operate three times a week; however, service will be reduced to two weekly flights from February 15 to February 28, 2025.
Aircraft: Air Arabia will use its modern Airbus A320 aircraft for the flights
Statements: Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia, emphasized the route's significance in enhancing connectivity and fostering economic and cultural ties between the UAE and Ethiopia . He also mentioned the airline's aim to boost trade and tourism by expanding destinations from Sharjah.
