
In a move to expand its regional connectivity, the Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier flyadeal has announced the launch of direct flights between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
The inaugural flight from Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, to Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, took off on February 1st, 2025. Flyadeal will be operating four weekly flights between the two cities, providing a convenient travel option for passengers traveling between the two countries.
"Flyadeal are excited to add Pakistan to our growing network," said the CEO of flyadeal, Mr. Ahmed Alkhateb. "This new route strengthens our commitment to offering affordable and accessible air travel options for our customers in the region."
Flyadeal's flights to Pakistan will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with the return flights from Islamabad to Riyadh scheduled on the same days. The flights will be serviced by the airline's fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft, known for their fuel efficiency and passenger comfort.
The launch of this new route is expected to boost tourism and trade between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, as well as provide a convenient travel option for the large Pakistani expatriate community residing in the Kingdom.
Passengers can now book their tickets on flyadeal's website or through authorized travel agents. The airline is offering introductory promotional fares to celebrate the launch of the new route.
