Emirates has announced a robust schedule of 33 special flights to Jeddah and Madinah for this year’s Hajj season, operating until May 31 and resuming between June 10 and 16. The initiative is set to support thousands of pilgrims embarking on their spiritual journey to Makkah.
To accommodate increased travel during the Eid Al Adha period, Emirates is also adding 13 extra flights to and from key regional destinations, including Amman, Dammam, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
These flights will serve the high demand as travelers head to summer leisure hotspots or reunite with family for Eid celebrations.
Over the next three weeks, Emirates expects to transport nearly 32,000 Hajj passengers from major cities across its global network, such as the USA, Pakistan, Indonesia, South Africa, Thailand, and Côte d'Ivoire.
Enhanced Hajj Experience Onboard
Pilgrims flying with Emirates will enjoy a thoughtfully curated Hajj experience. All cabin classes will offer distinctive ‘Hajj’ luggage tags and a newly introduced Hajj kit containing a prayer mat, tasbih beads, a mindfulness guide, silicon water bottles, and cushioned non-slip socks—ensuring both comfort and reverence.
Special Hajj flights will also feature ablution-friendly amenities, un-perfumed towels, and special announcements marking Al Miqat zones.
Dedicated Hajj content will be available on the airline’s ice entertainment system. Additionally, all passengers returning from Jeddah and Madinah can check in up to 5 litres of Zamzam holy water, which will be safely stowed in the aircraft’s cargo area.
Eid Al Adha Festivities in the Sky
In celebration of Eid Al Adha, Emirates will serve a special festive menu across all travel classes on flights to select destinations in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, the Far East, and Europe.
Passengers can look forward to traditional dishes such as Lamb Madfoon and Chicken Zurbian in First, Business, and Premium Economy Class, along with indulgent desserts like Pistachio and Chocolate Nammoura Cake and White Chocolate and Rahash Mousse Cake. Economy Class travelers will be treated to Pistachio Cake and Coffee Cake.
All customers will receive desserts in unique, celebratory boxes, featuring bite-sized delights such as Cake Rangeena, Pistachio Rehash Cake, and Date Mamoul cookies.
First and Business Class passengers departing from Jeddah will also enjoy exclusive lounge offerings, including Lamb Mathlouta, Lamb Saleeg, Henaini, and Cheese Kunafa.
